AMP Radio Calgary Show Notes 12.29.09
I avoided getting into the car today after I watched some dude lose control and plow into another car on Alberni. Granted, there was a bit of an incline, but that's just stupid. And, hey, why make things worse by adding to the driver stupidity out there when I'm perfectly capable of working at home.
Oh, and yesterday was the 11th anniversary of the 18 car pile up that kept me in and out of hospitals and specialists office for over 3 years. That might have something to do with it.
Cmon people, SHOVEL IT!
just sayin the drive on the main roads isnt too bad - now anyway.
I didn't bother going in to work today because I live out in the middle of nowhere (farm land, in Aldergrove), and the roads were treacherous. The plows never come back as far as my house is, so whenever we get a dumping like this, we're stranded. I went for a walk this afternoon, and provided there's no more snow tonight, we should be able to get ourselves out of here tomorrow morning.
I too am able to work from home, if necessary, but it's so much nicer to get out of the house for 8+ hours.
